8. Josh Harnett Could Have Been Loki
Josh Harnett has had something of a tough time when it comes to getting superhero gigs over the past few years: every role that he seems to have been "considered" for at some point has ended with the poor guy being... well, unconsidered. That's to say, Harnett was originally in the running to play Batman in that
Batman Vs. Superman movie that never happened (not terrible casting, if you ask me), and was almost set to sign on as God of Mischief Loki for
Thor before Marvel decided to go with Tom Hiddleston, who we'll all agree has embodied the character brilliantly. Fact is, comic book nerds were a little confused when Marvel went with Hiddleston, because nobody knew who the hell is was. There was something of a minor outcry amongst fans, but in true Heath Ledger/Joker style, the world was proven entirely wrong when Hiddleston unveiled his take on the character. It would have at least been
interesting to see Harnett's interpretation, though...
