The Avengers Gets New Clip
Hints towards Thor and Captain America having the kind of Legolas/Gimli dynamic we saw in The Lord of the Rings.
Did you know the Avengers is coming out soon? Well, in case you don't (which is a simple mistake, Marvel haven't made an annoyingly big deal about it or anything), The Avengers is coming out; and in tribute to this they've released another clip to go with the 187679.7 still images and pointless clips of Scarlett Johannson jiggling around a room whilst tied up. Because, you know, The Avengers is coming out, in case you didn't know. The clip, which appeared on Digital Spy, features Thor being a bad ass and gives us further confirmation that Captain America is one of the crappest super heroes around; as much as having a shield would do him well whilst fighting the Germans in the opening scene of Gladiator, it's crap all use elsewhere. As this clip shows.. This clip is encouraging though, the simple glances show that it's got a little bit of a different style to the Carbon Copied pre-Avengers movies, (different style meaning it isn't in the optimistic shade of light gold that all Marvel films are shot in), also hints towards Thor and Captain America having the kind of Legolas/Gimli dynamic we saw in The Lord of the Rings. Whether it will work? Who knows, but as long as Chris Hemsworth's hair is in shot no-one is really going to care that much. The Avengers opens April 27th in the UK, and May 4th in the US.
