10 Gaming Henchmen More Powerful Than Their Bosses

4. Odd Job - GoldenEye

oddjob Ok, ok I know Odd Job wasn€™t in the main story. He wasn€™t even in that movie. Odd job came from a much earlier James Bond film but he was a henchman and as anyone who€™s played GoldenEye can attest, it€™s all about the multiplayer, baby. I remember setting four televisions side by side and playing the four-way multiplayer for hours. And hours. And hours. And so on and so forth. One of the most addictive experiences ever. Now, just ask someone about GoldenEye and then mention Odd Job. This is the likely response: F$!# Odd Job. I€™m serious, try it. The problem with Odd Job was he was so damn tiny. The little bastard ran all over the place and was never tall enough to fall into your sight line. Anyone else in the game and you could easily shoot but your reticule was automatically too high in order to shoot Odd Job. If someone picked him it was like being in God mode. There was almost no way to beat him. Thus, the Odd Job rule went into effect. Every player was absolutely forbidden from choosing Odd Job. Matches were quit immediately if this rule was not followed. Friends fought and I believe wars were waged. God help everyone if some pr*ck took Odd Job and then got the golden gun. Game over. STOP USING ODD JOB YOU CHEATING BASTARD!

I'm married and live in New York with my wife and pets. I'm a writer and definitely not a comedian (just ask my wife). I've successfully linked my twitter, goodreads, facebook and google+ pages although the successful aspect of all that is up for debate. I also started my own blog on wordpress and have just finished my first novel, The Violent Winds. Now it's time to try and trick some unsuspecting fool into buying it.
