2. Ocelot - The Metal Gear Solid Series
Ocelot made his first appearance in Metal Gear Solid for the original Playstation. He was an underling for Solid Snakes clone/brother Liquid Snake. He was known as Revolver Ocelot and was an early boss battle in that game. Now, he wasnt that difficult to defeat but you never killed him. In fact, he was the only member of Liquids group to make it out alive. Its revealed at the end that he was working separately for the president of the United States. Ocelot reappeared in Metal gear Solid 2 and was now working for the Patriots doing battle with Raiden and Solid Snake. In the end, his plan was successful in testing out the Patriots new technological capabilities. In Metal Gear Solid 3, which was a prequel, Ocelot was shown to be a friend to Snake who turns out to be known as Big Boss -- the ancestor to Solid Snake. Finally, in Metal Gear Solid 4, Ocelot had merged his personality with Liquid Snake, becoming Liquid Ocelot and took over leadership of the company Outer Heaven. It was finally Ocelots time to shine and move from henchmen to leader. Ocelot fought hard in the end to regain control of his body from Liquid and was finally successful after being defeated by Solid Snake. He died that day at the age of 70 and left behind an enigmatic legacy of strife and servitude. There have been many, many villains throughout the history of the Metal Gear Solid Series but none have stood out like Ocelot. Always serving a master but outlasting them all.
