20 Coolest Trailers For Bad Video Games

Rocksteady had already built up quite the reputation for itself off the back of its critically-acclaimed Arkham series,  so when word got out that the studio was making a Suicide Squad game set in the same universe, fans were understandably excited. When the reveal trailer showcased the titular anti-heroes Harley Quinn, King Shark, Captain Boomerang and Deadshot blasting their way through Metropolis before being confronted by none other than Superman himself, it looked like Rocksteady had another sure-fire hit on its hands.

The game's premise, turning the Justice League into the targets instead of the playable characters, proved to be an intriguing hook that was backed up by a gameplay trailer showing off the 4 characters' unique traversal mechanics as they jumped and scrambled their way across the sprawling open-world environment. To many people's surprise though, Kill The Justice League turned out to be totally different to what its trailers promised, in the worst possible way.

The game turned out to be filled with uninteresting missions, repetitive shooting mechanics, and far too focused on live service elements, which proved to be its downfall. Despite the boss fights themselves being the highlight, Suicide Squad was panned by fans and critics, who were pretty shocked that this was the same studio that brought us the Arkham series.
