8 Unannounced Video Games We KNOW Are Coming

Gaming's worst kept secrets.

Sometimes, when a new game is announced, it can genuinely catch gamers by surprise.

With how prominent leaks are in the industry nowadays, it's actually more common for an announcement to be something we've known about for quite some time. There's also the fact that many developers work in a very specific way, and it's almost always pretty obvious what's coming next.

That means that there are a lot of games out there we're pretty sure are coming soon, even if it hasn't been officially shown off yet. After all, half the fun of a game announcement is trying to guess and imagine it beforehand.

When I say "unannounced games", I'm not talking about games that haven't been shown off yet. Games like Borderlands 3 that have been confirmed - but not shown off - aren't the same thing as games that haven't even been confirmed.

However, thanks to the magic of the internet, we're pretty certain that all of these games will be coming to us in the near future.

8. Watch Dogs 3

The success of Watch Dogs 2 put the series back on the map after a pretty boring start, and it seems ready for a new entry.

That's not just speculation though, as Ubisoft themselves have teased a third title numerous times. The game was updated to include a secret ending that teased a London location, and then the official Twitter account tweeted "This is everything" before being promptly deleted.

It's all a bit too weird to just be one big coincidence.

Then there's the fact that Ubisoft's AI assistant even talked about the game if asked. Why would it lie about a new game?

It seems like Watch Dogs 3 could be Ubisoft's next big unrevealed game, which means it'll probably get some grand reveal and focus at next year's E3. We can't wait.

If there's one thing that the third game absolutely needs to do, it's reintroduce the Dedsec gang and fully focus on stealth as Watch Dogs 2 really nailed those elements.
