Assassin's Creed 4: 10 Things It Needs

5. No More Shaun Hastings

I don't care how he goes, but please, please, please, get rid of Shaun Hastings, the irritating degenerate nerd played by comedian Danny Wallace. A violent death would be preferable, but then, do I really want Ubisoft wasting more development time on putting this character on screen? If he just disappeared without explanation, I would be perfectly fine with that. With his irksome voice and overt sarcasm, he's charming for all of about five minutes in Assassin's Creed 2 before he just becomes annoying, obnoxious and somewhat obtrusive to our enjoyment of the story. Comic relief characters are so unnecessary when the story is already so (potentially) interesting; why even bother padding it out like this?
