The Elder Scrolls VI: 10 Things We Want To See

4. Better Transport Options

No, not fast travel, that works as advertised - simply click n' go to any place around the map and you're there at the drop of a load screen. Instead what we're referring to is giving the player something other than the marginally faster horses to get about on. These were rarely to hand when you needed them, and for quite a lot of us we ended up nicking one from a stable and paying the cost in alignment rather than ambling towards our goal any slower. At the end of the day if you're playing Skyrim chances are you want to explore the world in full, not have it hidden underneath a bunch of load-screens, with the alternative being a slow trudge across the wilderness. How many of you out there genuinely saw everything Bethesda's world had to offer when it came to just journeying in any direction of your own volition? Chances are if there were some mobility-focussed spells, different animals to tame or ways of zipping to any point you could see in real time, it would encourage all of us to drink in the fantastic world around us far more.
