It's almost time once more for EA Sports to start rolling out more information ahead of the release of the latest addition to the FIFA franchise, with new features likely to revamp the engine, and greater immersion offered by best gen consoles. Inevitably talk has already turned to the ratings system, which has been typically flawed in recent years. But then, of course it has been: scouting and analysis of players is usually a subjective thing and having a few players out by a few points here and there is nothing to be ashamed of. Except EA Sports are occasionally all too predictable in their rating patterns. It is possible ahead of most games to look back at the last year's instalment and suggest which players - who typically deserve a lesser rating - will inevitably end up being over-powered.
