In anticipation of tomorrow's release of the Hitman: Absolution E3 trailer, Square Enix have just sent me this artful tease, featuring what appears to be PVC-clad, weapon-wielding vixens. To be honest they had me at PVC, but that doesn't mean the image isn't a mighty fine one and thus worthy of showing off anyway.
Here it is in all of it's atmospheric glory...
There's little suggestion from the image itself just who the shadowy figures are, but thanks to a screen grab from the E3 trailer that is also going round the net today, we can probably assume that at least some of them are murderous nuns...
Just what role the nuns will play in the game remains to be seen, but I was just saying the other day that the game industry these days is sorely missing machine-gun wielding holy people. Seriously, ask anyone.
The E3 2012 trailer for Hitman Absolution will debut tomorrow at 1pm BST, and based on Square Enix's track-record, we can probably expect some serious firewors. Look out for it on WhatCulture tomorrow.
The development team have already released a number of trailers, including the Introduction to Agent 47 below, which makes us all terribly excited for what the game might bring:
