Magic: The Gathering: 10 Most Powerful Artifacts In 2020 Standard

7. Gingerbrute

Who doesn’t want to attack with a crazed gingerbread man?

Gingerbrute can fit in any deck, has Haste, which means it can attack immediately, even on turn one and only costs a single mana.

It's also extremely hard to block, it has an ability that for a single mana only creatures with Haste can block it, this is so underrated as most creatures with Haste are aggressive creatures that want to attack, not block.

If we suit the Gingerbrute up with another artifact such as Shadowspear or enchant it with Ensoul Artifact we have an extremely fast win condition, this line of play has become very popular in the Pioneer format.

Best of all the Flavour of this card is incredible, when the game starts going south you can pay two mana and sacrifice Gingerbrute to gain three life! Who doesn’t want to eat their own creature?
