PES 2015: 15 Players Who Will Definitely Be Highest Rated

7. James Rodriguez - 90

Wealthy French outfit Monaco celebrated their return to first division football last season with a spending spree that saw Ricardo Carvalho, Jeremy Toulalan and Joao Moutinho join the ranks but it was the acquisition of Columbian duo Falcao and James Rodriguez that raised most eyebrows and pulses. Falcáo, regarded as one of the best strikers in world football was certainly worth the ‚60 million fee but ‚45 million seemed astronomically high for James Rodriguez who had failed to reach his potential at previous club Porto. And even though the striker enjoyed a solid debut season in France where he scored 10 and created 14 in 38 appearances, doubts still surrounded him heading into the World Cup as the fate of a nation rested on his young shoulders, due to the absence of the injured Falcáo. It made his meteoritic rise to the top all the more engrossing as he exploded on the biggest stage of them all with performances that got better with each game, scoring six goals to take home the coveted Golden Boot award with his unbelievable volley against Uruguay arguably the goal of the tournament. Many also argue that James should have been crowned the player of the tournament especially the hierarchy of Real Madrid who have just bought him for ‚80 million. A true star, James is also a PES fan favourite and has always had notoriously high potential in previous games. Expect his rating to shoot into the 90's in PES 2015 as the play-maker looks set to make his mark as the latest Galactico.
