After months in the wilderness, Rusev finally returned to the WWE fold on this past week's episode of Raw, sporting a ridiculous mustache and languishing in an even more ridiculous angle, as he was named, shamed and then defamed as the pretend father of Maria Kanellis' unborn child. His status with the company secured - at least for the time being - the Bulgarian Brute was also confirmed as part of 2K20's roster - though whether the artists will have time to graft on some facial fuzz in a reverse Henry Cavill job remains unseen.

The same can't be said for Rusev's wife, Lana, who is conspicuously absent from both television and the newest game's personnel, in spite of this year's supposed focus on the company's women's division. If absentee Alicia Fox is part of 2K20's female section, it makes no sense whatsoever that the Ravishing Russian shouldn't also be; there's more to this story. We just don't know it yet.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
