4. Mallory Knox

Okay, so compared to some of the entries on this list, a Cambridge band whose debut album only reached number thirty three on the mainstream albums chart could be considered a questionable inclusion. On the British rock scene, however, Mallory Knox (named after Juliette Lewis character in Oliver Stones Natural Born Killers) have been making waves, a considerable achievement given that British outlets for rock music such as Kerrang and Zane Lowes radio show (both of which have supported the group) are dominated by established bands ranging from Biffy Clyro to Bring Me The Horizon. Other British rock bands who have been making a name for themselves as a result of exposure by either Scuzz and Kerrang and are fully deserving of a listen include the likes of Lower Than Atlantis and Heavens Basement, though seemingly only the established likes of Linkin Park, Paramore and such are able to make an impact on the mainstream charts at this time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOtwSPOdvGQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFBQQ3BY2Sg
