Another entry from the folk rock genre is singer-songwriter Mike Rosenberg, otherwise known as Passenger. Interestingly, the artist was originally part of a six-piece group of the same name from 2003-2009, but their success was nonexistent, reaching only number 134 in the UK charts with one of their songs. Undeterred by this, Rosenberg continued in his attempts to break into the business and managed to achieve recognition in Australia after resorting to busking to make a living, before returning to his homeland and hitting the jackpot with Let Her Go, a song that went to number three in Britain and number one in ten other countries.
