Electropop is an interesting genre. Having been a mainstay of the eighties it dropped off of the radar for several years, but is currently undergoing something of a revival. Glaswegian three-piece Chvrches are a part of this, as well as being the only individuals other than Italian luxury goods manufacturer Bvlgari who use a v in their name but pronounce it as a u. Though their most commercially successful song to date, Recover, only reached number ninety-one in the UK charts, great things are expected of the Scottish trio, whose praises have been sung by the BBC, the New Musical Express (NME) and the Guardian as of late.
