Not long after Pixar's new premises were built, animator Andrew Gordon discovered an interesting little secret about the building. His office contained a small hatch which lead to a sizeable room, completely secluded from everywhere else.

Stanton began decorating the room and bringing fellow employees there, decking it out with everything from Christmas lights to lava lamps as well as liquor bottles and bar equipment. It was tentatively named “The Love Lounge” and a video camera enabled patrons to see who might be approaching.

Eventually Steve Jobs became aware of the room, and he was so fond of it that he actually brought visitors there and made them sign the wall, including Roy Disney, Tim Allen, and Randy Newman.
