The Boy Who Lived really did have it all: loyal friends, the ability to produce a kick-ass Patronus and a sense of humour. There are many characters in the Harry Potter series that made you chuckle endlessly, the obvious culprits being the Weasley twins and Ron, but almost every character manages to deliver a few good lines of golden comedy. Even as the books got increasingly dark and murdery, the commitment to a wicked - and often very clever - sense of humour continued to run through. Even as Sirius took his last breath and it turned out Harry was a Horcrux there were still disarmingly cheerful moments, adding light to the end of the tunnel of gloom. Like a patronus made of LOLs. So why not take a walk down memory lane - or Diagon Alley - and re-introduce yourself to the humour in the beloved wizarding series? Even Fred went out laughing at the end of things.

Book: Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone Fred and George were literally smacking Lord Voldemort himself, in the face, with snowballs. Who else could have got away with that without a swift Crucio to the chops?
