Johny Hendricks lost his belt at UFC 181 against the man he originally challenged for it, Robbie Lawler, after Georges St. Pierre defeated him and walked away from the sport. He also lost his win bonus, reportedly $200,000, but did pick up $150,000. Where Hendricks goes from here is anyone's guess. He never successfully defended his title, was out a long stretch, and has fought Lawler twice. They're 1-1, but it's probably too soon for a rubber match. Hector Lombard could be an option if he beats Josh Burkman next month.
