Tyson Fury has grabbed all the headlines in WWE since his confrontation with Braun Strowman on last week's debut episode of SmackDown on FOX.

Fury hopped the barricade to confront 'The Monster Among Men' after Strowman launched Dolph Ziggler into the former boxing world champion who was sat ringside. Although security prevented the two men from coming to blows on Friday night, Monday Night Raw saw them come face-to-face.

Tyson Fury demanded an apology from Braun, but after that wasn't forthcoming, the main event of Raw descended into an all out brawl. Security and wrestlers alike were sent flying as the two behemoths tangled with each other as Raw went off the air.

It's anticipated that Tyson Fury versus Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel will be announced at today's Las Vegas press conference, alongside another much anticipated showdown between Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez.

Nevertheless, what do wrestling fans need to know about the man dubbed 'The Gypsy King'?

Where did he get that nickname from? Which parts of the British boxer's incredible career are almost like something out of a Hollywood movie script? Why was Fury linked with WWE in the past?!

Tyson Fury seems to fit right in when it comes to WWE; not only is he bloody massive but he comes with his own nickname: 'The Gypsy King'.

This moniker is a nod to his Irish Traveller roots. This community are known for their love of boxing and are famous for producing some of the best Irish & British boxers in history. Furthermore, the Fury boxing legacy doesn't begin with Tyson.

Fury's father, John, competed as a bare-knuckle boxer throughout the 1980s under the nickname 'Gypsy' John Fury, and Tyson is a cousin of numerous professional boxers like Hughie Fury, Nathan Gorman and former WBO world middleweight champion Andy Lee.

Finally, Fury is also a distant relative of Uriah Burton and Bartley Gorman, two bare-knuckle boxers who were once considered 'Kings of the Gypsies'.

Clearly for Tyson Fury, the title of 'Gypsy King' isn't just an epithet, but a way of life.
