7 Best Young Forwards In Europe This Season

5. Marcus Rashford (22, Manchester United)

After a dip in form last season, the Manchester United starlet found his scoring boots again this term and hit the throttle. He has led the line for Ole Gunner Solskjaer's side with aplomb, and netted 14 times from 20 appearances.

Romelu Lukaku's departure in the summer raised concerns about the lack of an experienced personnel upfront, but the 22-year old stepped up to the plate to allay any such fears. And for the record, he has already surpassed his tally of 10 league goals from last season, and will be looking add some more now that he'll be returning to the squad this week after going four weeks out through injury.

Rashford's season appeared to be curtailed due to an unfortunate back injury in January, but he's now due to return for the visit of Manchester City for the crunch derby at the Old Trafford. And the timing couldn't have been any more perfect.

Rashford has massively grown in stature for the Red Devils, who won only twice from six outings in his absence, and scored only six times. So his return to the line-up would spell a massive boost ahead of the home stretch of the campaign.
