5. Pavel Pogrebnyak

Reading's Pavel Pogrebnyak has already scored 8 Premier League goals so far this season and featured against Newcastle in the Royals' 2-1 win at St James' Park on January 19th. According
to reports, the 29-year old Russian has caught the attentions of Pardew, who could be tempted into making an offer for the £3 million-valued forward. Pogrebnyak also spent a sting at Fulham where he scored in half of the 12 appearances he made, and also enjoyed a prolific spell with Zenit St Petersburg where he scored 42 goals in 58 appearances. Would Reading be prepared to sell one of their forwards to a relegation rival? Unlikely, but Pardew might still test the waters with a bid. Source(s): Russian daily
