Premier League Betting Odds: 6 Best Bets For The Weekend
3. Arsenal and Liverpool To Draw 2-2
Odds: 12/1 Liverpool did extremely well against Man City last week, looking the better side for good portions of the game, though their midweek win over Hearts was a little less inspiring, and they should still be buoyed by that performance against the Premier League champions. They didn't do much on the last day transfer window, but with Joe Allen driving their midfield, the Reds showed signs against City of being a far far better team than they were under Kenny Dalglish. And while Arsenal are still probably reeling from the departure of last season's talismanic striker Robin Van Persie to big rivals Manchester United, they still have goals in their squad, and both Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud will be looking to get up and running against a Liverpool team who shipped 3 goals against West Brom on the opening day and another 2 against City. We can almost certainly expect goals in this one, and at 12-1, the opportunity to take both teams as scorers is too big to miss.
4. Michu To Score & Swansea To Win 1-0
Odds: 22/1 Arguably the most impactful signing of the summer so far behind the mercurial Eden Hazard, Spaniard Michu has so far scored 3 goals for second place Swansea, and in Michael Laudrup's attacking style, he will score a lot more this year, and will likely take his tally close to the 15 mark that he notched for Rayo Vallecano from midfield last season. Swansea should have enough to beat Sunderland, despite Martin O'Neill's big money signings, though those recruitments have been well-considered (aside perhaps from their inflated prices), even if the game will likely be a tight one. Expect Michu and a resurgent Wayne Routledge to be the keys to a closely fought Swansea victory.
