UFC 248 Predictions

The main card begins with a fun match-up between two very violent welterweights in Max Griffin and Alex Oliveira. Oliveira might be on a three-fight losing streak that has seen him drop out of the top-15 fighters in the division, but his wild, brawling style has made him a must-see watch for most fight fans.

Oliveira's brutal brand of Muay Thai honestly looks more like someone trying to murder an opponent with an axe rather than elbow and knee them to pieces. Win, lose or draw, it's quite clear that those who take on the dancing Brazilian are going to leavewith their fair share of bumps, bruises and cuts.

While Griffin isn't quite the fight finisher that Oliveira is, he's a really good athlete with solid fundamentals. That being said, he hasn't been quite as impressive as many believed he would be when he entered the UFC. His inability to string consecutive victories together proves that we can never be quite sure which version of him will show up on fight night.

Due to Griffin's unpredictable nature, Oliveira looks like the smarter choice out of the two.
