Did Junior dos Santos turn back the clock and takeout heavy-hitting fan favourite Derrick Lewis?

Former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos scored a big victory over top contender Derrick Lewis at last night's UFC Fight Night 146, finishing him with punches in the second round of the main event.

'Cigano' wasted very little time in getting the fight started, mixing up some solid leg kicks along with his stellar boxing skills to stop Lewis from gaining momentum and being able to use his heavy hands. After softening up Lewis' with some nice strikes, dos Santos landed a fantastic spin kick to the body that crumpled 'The Black Beast' onto the cage.

Although it wasn't enough to finish Lewis in the first round, it certainly hindered him and JDS could see that. Showing how much of an experienced veteran he is, dos Santos didn't rush in for the kill, instead taking his time with Lewis before cracking him over the head with his trademark overhand right. A few more shots followed until the referee pulled the big Brazilian off of him.

That's now three wins on the trot for dos Santos, who is back in the title hunt again after losing the belt to Cain Velasquez back in 2012.

Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos continued his impressive run inside the UFC's welterweight division, needing only two minutes and 35 seconds to submit Curtis Millender with a rear naked choke. 'Capoeira' looked sensational in his latest outing and could be in-line for a top five opponent.

Niko Price and Tim Means put on a near five minute barn burner for the fans inside the Intrust Bank Arena, standing toe-to-toe and trading shots with each up until Price finished the fight with a crushing right hook and some accurate ground strikes with only 10 seconds remaining in the fight.
