Genre icons Bill Paxton (Aliens, Near Dark) and Brad Dourif (Child's Play/Chucky series) are the aforementioned brothers in this bloody instalment directed by Russell Mulcahy (Highlander). As desperado Billy, Paxton looks like he's walked right off the set of Near Dark, still wearing his Texan vampire's wardrobe and bringing all of that character's redneck swagger with him, while Dourif draws sympathy as the seemingly innocent Virgil, even when he's giving in to murderous impulses.
The plot is simple, yet the bungling brothers manage to complicate it every step of the way. You'll be watching through your fingers as the catastrophes escalate to fatal degrees and the shocking twist is arguably one of the most surprising in the entire run.
Sidenote - Listen closely to catch this Easter egg for horror fans - at one point you can hear Dourif's trademark Chucky laugh.
