4. Thasmin
Thirteen and Yaz have been particularly close from the start of their journey, and fans have noticed many flirtatious looks and comments between the two. This led to a massive amount of fans shipping the two characters with the cutest of names, “Thasmin”.
Often shippers seem to clutch at straws and make up some very strange relationship combinations for characters, but Thirteen and Yaz really make sense.
We don’t know much about Yaz, but we know that in the episode “Can You Hear Me,” part of the reason she ran away from home was due to being bullied at school. Fans speculated that it might have been because of her sexuality, and that Yaz was having a hard time accepting that she is either gay or bisexual.
If it worked out, it could be a lovely bit of representation. Sometimes the worry with these things is that it might feel forced, but these two have been obviously in love from the very start. Let’s not forget about how Yaz cared the most when Thirteen was stuck in space prison and the way she didn’t need any convincing to stay despite two of her best friends leaving the TARDIS.
