The Arrowverse is getting another wrestling addition, with Bill Goldberg set to guest star on The Flash.

The former Universal Champion, who returned to the WWE ring in 2016 after 12-years away, confirmed on Twitter that he'd be appearing on two episodes of The CW's DC Comics show, doing so for his son, Gage. He returned to wrestling so his son, aged 10, could get to experience him in action, and no doubt it'd be awesome for him to see his dad on a superhero series as well.

There's no word yet on who Goldberg will be playing, but the likelihood given his stature is that he'll be a villain going up against Grant Gustin's Barry Allen, and really, who doesn't want to see him spear the Scarlet Speedster?

Goldberg follows in the footsteps of Adam 'Edge' Copeland, who portrayed the villain Atom Smasher in The Flash's Season 2 premiere, The Man Who Saved Central City. Then in 2016 Cody Rhodes made the leap from the ring to the screen with a villainous turn on Arrow, playing opposite Stephen Amell after feuding with him in WWE, and returned to the show earlier this year.
