One of the best things about Brooklyn Nine-Nine is the incredible characters, and the dynamics between them all. There are a few key duos in the 99th precinct, such as Jake and Amy, Jake and Charles, and Captain Holt and Amy. The oldest relationship however, with the possible exception of Hitchcock and Scully, is Jake and Gina.

The two have known each other since they were children, from going to roller skating birthday parties, to working together for the NYPD.
