Fear The Walking Dead: 10 Questions We’re Asking After The Pilot

Fear The Walking Dead has arrived, and it's a very different beast to its (almost) namesake parent show. While The Walking Dead has been a slash-fest from the start, Fear has given fans a slow-burning start, but a one with a lot of potential. Anybody writing the series off after one slow episode must have rushed in expecting death, blood and gore immediately and that's simply not how this spinoff was going to work. If they had done so, Fear would've been a carbon-copy of The Walking Dead and therefore rather pointless. There's not a great deal of action in the Pilot episode to lose your mind over, but it's a satisfying start with a couple of scares thrown in for good measure, and a whole lot of 'scene-setting.' That's not a terrible thing, after all, things could escalate very quickly, in which case a first episode to develop characters is necessary. I'm not saying it was a perfect extended episode with some moments of needless recklessness and cliched character stupidity, but there are plenty of encouraging signs, and already some tantalising questions raised about the show, so let's take a look at some of the biggest raised from the Pilot.
