Friends Or Brooklyn Nine-Nine Quiz: Who Said It - Ross Geller Or Charles Boyle?

The battle of the two goofballs!

Charles & Ross Brooklyn Nine-Nine Friends
NBC

Every show needs a resident goofball, it’s just the laws of television. No two other characters fit this archetype better than Ross Geller of Friends and Charles Boyle of Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Ross’ obsession with dinosaurs paired with the constantly awkward situations he gets himself into lead to some of the funniest moments on friends – who could forget the tanning incident or when he sported the leather pants? Ross became the unsung hero of Friends, especially towards the later series where he grows from annoying loser into arguably the funniest situational character within the show.

Boyle is simply Boyle - the laughing stock of the 99th Precinct. Charles is always good for a cheap laugh, and helps bring all the other characters together in the show. It’s difficult to determine what he loves more, his weekly pizza v-log or Jake. Charles is at his very best when he goes 'full Boyle'.

Every show needs a brilliant sad-case, and these shows have two of the very best. How well do you know these two goofballs? Can you tell them apart from their quotes alone?
