As one of The Simpsons' most well-known characters €“ she's the holder of a 1992 Emmy Award €“ and at the age of 70, she'd been part of The Simpsons cast throughout the show's incredibly long life. We all have our own views as to the quality of later episodes of The Simpsons. I myself treat Season 12 onwards with the utmost suspicion, whether that be overly harsh or not. However, the character of Edna Krabappel will always be one remembered with the most rose-tinted of glasses, and with good reason.
