10 Best Pound-For-Pound Fighters Currently In The UFC

10. Weili Zhang

Zhang Weili (or Weili Zhang) punched her way into the UFC spotlight in the summer of 2019 by completely pulverising Jessica Andrade for the UFC Strawweight gold in only her fourth fight in the company.

That fight took place in Shenzhen, China and while it would be easy to frame the rapturous reception she received in victory as an expected response - seeing as though she was in her home country - the shocking speed in which she disposed of the veteran fighter would surely have popped even the most stoic of crowds.

Weili is quite simply a superstar. She may not have been on many western fan's radars before this moment, but she'd already amassed a stunning 19-1 record before she stepped foot into the Octagon that night in August 2019.

Proving to be every bit as frightening on the ground - god help you if she locks in an armbar - as she is standing up, Weili has quickly announced herself as one of the most terrifying women in all of the UFC.

If she can take down Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 248, surely a super-fight with Valentina Shevchenko needs to be put on the table in the near future.

Now that would be an absolute barn-burner.
