10 British MMA Stars You Need To Know

9. Nathan Greyson

Former Cage Warriors Flyweight Champion Nathan Greyson's career - before he was signed up by Bellator - told the story of a rising star, hell bent on knocking the life out of people.

Multiple knockout victories and doctor stoppages told you all you needed to know about this lightning fast, vicious striker. If you were wise enough to keep out of the way of his rapid hands, his face crushing knees would soon find you out.

He suffered the odd loss in his lead up to signing with Bellator, but big things were still expected from the Englishman.

However, he is currently languishing in a two fight losing slump and he hasn't fought since June of last year.

At this point, it seems clear that the only real gaping hole in his game is his grappling ability - evidenced in those two Bellator losses coming via submission. If he rounds out that part of his game, Greyson could pose a substantial threat to both the Bantamweight and Flyweight divisions going forward.

There's still no word as to whether Greyson will return to fight for the company in 2020. But, if his early career is any indication, Greyson could still salvage himself and make good on the promise he showed as one of Cage Warriors' and UCMMA's most dynamic stars.
