Having taken over a year away from the Octagon after her surprise UFC 193 loss to Holly Holm, December 2016’s UFC 207 saw Ronda Rousey’s hugely anticipated return to the cage as fight fans wondered just how well she would bounce back from that shocking defeat.

The answer was that Ronda would get brutally stopped less than a minute into the first round of her fight against UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes.

While Ronda Rousey was unsuccessful in her bid for gold, UFC 207 did see the UFC Bantamweight Championship change hands as Cody Garbrandt defeated Dominick Cruz to become the new Bantamweight Champ.

Adding to the 1.1 million PPV buys for Rousey’s big return, the Vegas crowd of 18,500 in the T-Mobile Arena brought in $4.75 million in gate money.
