10 UFC Fighter Comebacks Which Could Potentially Happen In 2020
10. Dan Hardy
If you're fairly new to MMA as a combat sport or just the UFC as a promotion, you may simply know Dan Hardy as that British lad who knows a thing or two about fighting.
Well, long before he was putting together stellar in-depth fight analysis videos or commentating on bouts at UFC events, Hardy was battling the likes of George's St-Pierre, Anthony Johnson and Akihiro Gono in the Octagon himself.
Sadly, Hardy was diagnosed with Wolf-Parkinson-White Syndrome in 2013 and had to cease competing.
Since then he has gone on to establish himself as one of the top voices in MMA analysis/punditry and no doubt now has a job for life within the UFC.
However, against all odds it appears as though Hardy's career inside the cage may not be over just yet.
Speaking on The Joe Rogan Experience in August 2019, Hardy mentioned how he had re-joined the USADA testing pool after being medically cleared to compete again in 2018. Hardy had to be in the pool for four months before he could choose whether or not he'd like to fight again, which means that surely he's now in a position to return if he pleases.
Seeing Hardy fighting again would be a testament to the Brit's never say die attitude and if he feels as though he is in a position to be competitive inside the cage once more, this comeback could be on the cards before the year is out.
