5 Fights To Make After UFC 247

4. Derrick Lewis Vs. Curtis Blaydes

Witnessing Derrick Lewis' improvement as a mixed martial artist over the years has been an extremely interesting watch. While he was originally just a knockout artist, he's now added many different elements to his game, making him a far more dangerous and unpredictable opponent for those he faces.

His win over Ilir Latifi might've been a controversial one, but it's a victory that has placed him among the top-5 heavyweights in the division. While Lewis has plainly stated that he's mostly interested in making as much money as he possibly can, his success in the Octagon is putting him on the path for another shot at the title.

However, another fighter who is on a similar path is dynamic wrestler, Curtis Blaydes. Blaydes recently knocked out former UFC champion Junior dos Santos, who is the last man to defeat Lewis. While we're not sure if the match-up will produce the sort of fireworks that fans usually expect from a fight with the Black Beast, it should go a long way into deciding who is the next challenger for the title.
