6 UFC Opponents Conor McGregor Will Probably Face Next

5. Georges St-Pierre

When Georges St-Pierre was active, there was no doubt in anyone's mind that he was the absolute best. His superb wrestling, strikes that landed with extreme precision, and fight IQ that was way above any of his opponents made him one of the first all-rounded fighters in UFC without any major weaknesses. His dominant five-year reign as the welterweight champion with the record-breaking amount of wins in title fights along with his win over Michael Bisping for the middleweight title secured his legacy as one of the greatest in the history of MMA

Although he is officially retired, there is no doubt in anyone's mind that Georges St-Pierre could hop in the octagon at any moment if the conditions are right, and a mega-fight with McGregor is just the kind of opportunity that might bring the legend back to the fold. If that does happen, The Notorious will have a lot to deal with since he had problems with his gas tank in the past and GSP likes to drag the fights into the later rounds, all the while pummelling his opponents with strikes and takedowns.

As unlikely as it is, a GSP VS. McGregor fight would turn in millions of Pay-Per-View buys since both of the men are known to draw in record-breaking crowds. Seeing that St-Pierre is healthy and fit now, nothing really stops this matchup to happen with even GSP himself admitting that that was an interesting opportunity.
