At least somebody is...

No sooner has Brock Lesnar departed WWE are the company already thinking about his return, according to reports in PWInsider.com today.

Following his loss to Roman Reigns in the main event of SummerSlam this past weekend, The Beast is now expected to focus full-time on his return to UFC and eventual comeback fight against Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier. Reportedly WWE's stance is that "the door is open" for a return and that the company would be very happy to have him back.

The reports also go on to say that WWE expect Brock to be busy in UFC until "early 2019", but given the length of time required for Brock to be eligible on doping grounds (and serve his existing suspension) that would appear to be optimistic. If, as is rumoured, Lesnar is looking to get a number of big-payoff fights under his belt then later in the year is a more realistic return date.

This follows suggestions that Triple H's in-ring promo for Super Show Down had been hastily added to the evening's running order after they were forced to pull a Brock segment. However that's since been squashed as, despite advertising him on the show for a number of months, WWE had no plans to use Brock.

Whatever the future holds for Brock and WWE - and whatever timeline that's on - it's clear that for now the two have gone their seperate ways.
