7. Sting vs. Vader (SuperBrawl III - February, 1993)
The truly corny mini-movies WCW shot to hype their major Pay-Per-View matches in 1992-1993 have to be seen to be believed - they're incredibly cheesy, but there's something nonetheless endearing about it all, like a throwback to those cornball shows of the 90's, such as Goosebumps. Vader and Sting would meet many times in WCW, but their 'White Castle Of Fear' Strap Match at SuperBrawl III was one of the best. Vader was simply a beast, and it's a shame that his later WWF run didn't come anywhere close to his WCW tenure, as he should have been money in the bank for Vince McMahon. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1freq7_sting-vs-vader-wcw-superbrawl-iii-21-02-1993-strap-match_sport The clip accompanying this entry is worth watching even just for the opening 30 seconds, which sums up the cartoon-like WCW of 1993, but the bout itself will bring back many fond memories for older fans, and maybe open the eyes of younger ones who associate World Championship Wrestling with complete failure.
