10 Blatant WWE Cash Grabs
4. Saudi Arabia Deal
Not every WWE cash grab involves the company flogging a silly toy or piece of merchandise, after the item in question has been shamelessly plugged on their weekly programming.
No, sometimes it can be a whole lot more cold-blooded and WWE's deal with the Saudi General Sports Authority personifies this perfectly.
Both the country not allowing any of the company's female stars to perform - up until that ground-breaking women's match at 2019's Crown Jewel - and the killing of Jamal Khashoggi acted as red flags for WWE's continual presence in the country.
Yet, the money - estimated to be around $50 million per event - keeps McMahon coming back for more and has left many fans questioning if they want to be seen supporting a company that has so openly decided to profit from a part of the world where oppression and inequality runs rife.
Several of the company's talents have already boycotted the event and with their last visit ending in a plane being grounded after a pay dispute - with over 175 wrestlers and staff on-board - it remains to be seen whether this blatant cash grab will continue to cause more controversy than the deal must surely be worth.
