10 Free Agents TNA Should Sign

1. Cody Rhodes

Cody has shared his list of dream opponents online, and if he signs with TNA, he can take care of a few of them. Trevor Lee, Mike Bennett and Moose are a few of the men he has his sights set on. More importantly, though, fans love Cody and want to see the vastly under-utilised wrestler given a chance to show that he can be a main event player.

Cody showed a lot of fire when he was cast as a babyface in the Rhodes Family vs. Shield feud, and deserves the opportunity to show a more serious side of his character. While he was good in the Stardust role, it was far beneath him. If he came into TNA and was immediately mixed into the main event scene, it’s doubtful there’d be many complaints.

He’s still young (only 31), has a tonne of fan support and he’s out to prove that his talent was wasted in WWE.

TNA has done well lately bringing in hot free agents like Moose and Aron Rex, and Cody would be another great signing. With his career at a bit of a crossroads right now, it would be foolish of the company to not attempt to bring him in.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
