10 Most Boring Wrestlers Of 2017

6. Mickie James

Mickie James would be the perfect surprise return for the first ever female Royal Rumble match if she wasn't already on the roster. The reception Mickie receives when she comes out for matches is polite, and there's no doubt she has been popular across multiple stints during her decade-plus run in WWE. The key word there is 'polite'.

Fans react to James more because they remember what she used to be than enjoy what she's doing now. That's an issue, one hardly helped by Alexa Bliss mouthing off that Mickie is an old hag who needs to disappear. Say something enough times with enough conviction and some folks may just start believing it's true.

Obviously, James is beautiful and still has something to offer. To do so however, she'll need a lot more than playing 'generic smiling female' every week. That alliance with Bliss at the start of the year was more like it, so why did WWE cancel that in favour of turning Mickie back into a lifeless babyface?
