10 Most Boring Wrestlers Of 2017

4. R-Truth

The quirky madness of R-Truth was endearing 7/8 years ago. He even managed to turn heel and secure a main event match for the WWE Title against John Cena at the one-off Capitol Punishment pay-per-view in 2011. There, the whole 'Little Jimmy' idea peaked, and it hasn't been quite so charming since.

That's the problem when performers don't try to branch out and add anything different to their act; comedy has a tendency to wear thin in pro wrestling if it's not developed. That's something Truth found out the hard way in 2017. Whether teaming with Goldust or as a solo performer, he failed to do anything that raised a smile.

The Golden Truth seemed out-of-touch with what fans wanted too. WWE presented a pair of ageing veterans who rapped and danced like it was 1999 all over again then expected fans to bat an eyelid when they split and feuded. That was hardly ever going to get over, so if Truth makes a comeback he needs a rethink.
