10 Things That Must Happen Before WrestleMania 36

8. Fix Tag Team Wrestling

SmackDown's tag division has been left in a state of post-Superstar Shake-Up shambles. The Hardy Boyz and New Day have been derailed through injury, The Usos were sent to Raw, and The Bar were split up for no apparent reason. This leaves Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, and, ahem, Heavy Machinery as the top tandems. Not ideal.

Raw's group is healthier, featuring teams like The Usos, Viking Raiders, and Revival. Still, Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder are champions. This shows there's still much work to be done, and it'd be great to see WWE put some effort into reviving their tag divisions ahead of WrestleMania 36.

This will be a tall task, and would require Vince McMahon pulling a U-turn on an aspect of his product he has rarely given a hoot about. Regardless, with All Elite Wrestling promising to push tag wrestling to the forefront, the WWE Chairman might not be able to afford neglecting his talented duos for much longer. Teams like The Young Bucks and Lucha Brothers prospering would give AEW a niche, and a reason for fans to tune in: Vince won't want that at all.
