10 Wrestling Shock Signings You NEVER Saw Coming

8. Eric Bischoff To WWE

The Undertaker Starrcast
WWE

The Undertaker will never wrestle for All Elite Wrestling.

All Elite Wrestling will never compete with WWE.

We never learn.

Eric Bischoff was never going to work for Vince McMahon. This much we knew. Like a steady point in an ever-changing world, the heat that existed between the promoters during the Monday Night Wars years before ensured that The Chairman would never extend a hand to the man that tried his hardest to take every crumb of food away from his own.

Until he did.

For all the seismic events of 2002 in the wake of 2001's original WCW buyout - Hogan IN, Austin OUT, split brands, split belts, lesbians, thespians, gay weddings and shagged Dads - the one moment that rendered all the rest moot was the return of 'Easy E' to Monday Nights.

Bischoff's music may have yelled from the rooftops about his return, but the triumph in the vocal performance was telling. Bischoff had no right to be on Monday Night Raw, and he was now the kayfabe showrunner. We were conclusively told to never say never again.
