Sable, real name Rena Marlette Lesnar, was one of the breakout WWF divas who helped to set the standard for the 'sexy era' in wrestling. She was in fact a factor in the initial success of the Attitude Era, Sable's early fame should not be understated, she along with Austin and DX was something that got us all talking in 1998. She looked fantastic, going on to feature in Playboy twice in the same year, a first for the famous magazine. It made her a legitimate mainstream sex symbol. Unfortunately, at the peak of her fame, Sable left WWE due to a sexual harassment dispute with Vince McMahon. She settled damages out of court and did some minor TV and film work, before returning to the WWE in 2003. This move seen her also returning to the cover of Playboy. A year later she was gone again, going on to marry ultra successful WWE and UFC box office draw Brock Lesnar in 2006. It isn't too surprising that Sable has personally amassed over a million dollars to her name. In the WWF she sold a load of merchandise and her Playboy pictorial was one of the best selling issues ever. She connected with the male demographic and did 'sexy' better than the majority of WWE women ever have.
