10 WWE Stars Who Must Be Split Up In Draft 2016

10. JBL And Michael Cole

Actually, we’re not even going to start with wrestlers. It’s time for JBL and Michael Cole to go away...and if they won’t go away, just go to different shows. Much like two middle school students who the teacher won’t let sit by each other because they disrupt class, McMahon needs to split them up because they're disrupting Monday Night Raw.

Part of the reason they need a break is due to the exhaustion of listening to them. We’ve sat through three hours of Cole and JBL for a few years now on Raw. And it’s not that good. Unlike classic pairings like Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan, or Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler, they don’t have that good of on-air chemistry. They may be great friends offstage, but they’re not very dynamic together. Cole is a slightly above average lead announcer, and JBL just disagrees with everything his partner says out of pure instinct, and takes delight in yelling out outdated references which the two laugh hysterically at.

This duo feels like a good ol’ boys club, and two guys that McMahon loves to listen to. Problem is, very few other people do. Since the boss is not going to let either of them go, he should split them up so the product feels fresher. Bring Corey Graves up to Raw with Cole, let Mauro Ranallo try to get JBL to care again, and Byron Saxton can be quietly released. Everybody wins!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
