10 WWE Wrestlers Who Came Back From The Cold
1. Bret Hart
Nobody has ever burned their WWE bridges quite like Bret Hart, who was said to have fallen out with just about everyone in the company by the time he left in November 1997.
The manner of his departure, you may recall, didn't exactly help things either. Though he was basically forced out of the company in reality, the McMahon history books pegged the 'Hitman' as the greedy WCW-bound diva who was too proud to do his old boss one last favour by putting over Shawn Michaels.
More than a decade of hostility followed before Vince and his former employee finally sat round a table to hash things out. Then, at WrestleMania XXVI, they hashed things out in front of the whole world, as the 'Excellence of Execution' fought his first WWE match since 1997.
It's redemption stories like this one that give us hope when it comes to guys like CM Punk, because really, if Bret can come back in from the cold, after everything that was said, then just about anyone else should be able to.
