10 WWE Wrestlers Who Came Back From The Cold
4. Brock Lesnar
Brock Lesnar's split with WWE in 2004 was anything but mutual. In fact, Vince McMahon and his legal team did just about everything they could to prevent the 'Next Big Thing' from appearing in someone else's ring, a bid which ended the following year when he rocked up in New Japan.
In truth, it was less a case of being left out in the cold than it was Lesnar taking his ball and walking out after growing bored with life in the squared circle. He clearly felt his talents could be put to better use in the world of real, competitive sport, and - well, he was sort of proven right.
He continued to knock back WWE's advances until 2012 when the two parties reached a never-before-seen deal that would allow the UFC star to work a handful of dates a year whilst receiving a salary that bettered 99% of his co-workers. Vince got his man, Brock got the opportunity to cave Randy Orton's head in - everyone was happy.
